Our Story

We've seen first-hand the power and influence that sports command. The ability to unite people. The ability to inspire people. The ability to impact people. It’s a tremendous platform with immense potential. However, we've also seen that without a cohesive strategy and consistent, compelling content, the potential often goes unfulfilled.

Based on that belief, we launched Brandfly Studios. We're a branding agency headquartered in Detroit who pride ourselves on creating powerful content for our clients and their fans. Our passion is fueled by our love for problem solving, storytelling, brand building and the belief that there is no better platform than sports in which to do it. With an experienced and nimble team of creative talent, we will help every athlete, every team and every brand fulfill and exceed their potential.

Charlie Metzger is a natural leader and brand builder. His ability to see untapped potential in people and brands is rare. His 25+ years of experience includes managing big brands (Miller Lite), running an agency with large multi-national clients (McCann Worldgroup), and leading a professional sports organization (Detroit Pistons) where he was most recently the Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer. His vast knowledge of brands, athletes, and how to utilize the power of sports to drive revenue has served him well across his successful career. His positive attitude and ability to understand all sides of the equation make him a trusted executive.

Jason George

Chief Creative Officer

Jason George sees things that others don’t. He has a natural ability to visualize and then create. His 20+ years of experience includes working with athletes, building brands, creating compelling content and thrilling audiences with meaningful visual experiences. He has extensive experience in the sports and entertainment industry, most recently serving as Creative Director for the Detroit Pistons where he led the development and execution of multiple award winning campaigns. His calm demeanor combined with his creative talent make him a unique find in the industry.

Nick Zalewski

Creative Director

Throughout his design career, Nick Zalewski has developed a keen eye for aesthetics and an intuitive understanding of brand identity that enables him to craft campaigns that both resonate and inspire. His 15+ years of experience include senior-level roles in professional sports, concerts/live entertainment and the food and beverage industry, making Nick a well-rounded creative talent with a versatile portfolio of work.
